The Nodaway County Health Department is responsible for the promotion and protection of the public’s health through education, prevention and delivery of health services. This will be accomplished through assessment, policy development and planning, and assurance.
VISION STATEMENT
Nodaway County will become a county where healthy people live in a healthy community.

The Nodaway County Health Center values the leadership and dedicated staff who are responsible and responsive to the community and are receptive to new ideas. We value a prosperous community, which provides a safe environment for all people in the county. We value providing services in a confidential, consistent, and dedicated manner. We value cooperation and collaboration with other community groups and activities.
